Layer Adjustments

The layer adjustment tool I used for this image is called black and white.  Once the adjustment is applied, I changed some of the settings by sliding from one color to the next.  This just makes some of the parts darker, lighter, and different shades.
The tool I used to make this image look like this is the brightness and contrast tool.  This makes images less dull and adds some color.  I just applied the adjustment and slid the bars to make the picture look exactly how I wanted it.  I brightened the photo and made some of the colors stand out more.
The layer adjustment I used for this photo is called the selective color tool.  This can change the tint of the picture to make it more on the red side, like it is here, or any other color I select.
For this image, I used the color balance tool.  It changes the tone of the colors of the photo.  I chose to make this picture more yellow and brown than it was before.
On this photo, I used the hue and saturation tool.  It can change the hue of the picture, this one I chose to make mostly green toned.  There is also a little bit of red in this image.  I just slid the bars to the way I liked the photo.
This adjustment changes the photo in a way that is completely different from all of the other adjustments.  It basically reverses the colors in the picture so that it is the complete opposite of how it was before.  This image used to have a yellow flower and green leaves and grass.  It is called the invert tool.

For this image, I used the photo filter tool.  This tool seems to make the photo a little bit clearer and also changes the tones of some of the colors in the picture.  I made this picture more sepia toned, so it looks more yellow than green like it was before I edited it.
I used the vibrance tool on this photo.  It brings out the colors in the image and makes the picture less dull and clearer than it is before it is edited.  I chose the amount of vibrance by sliding the bar back and forth until it looked the way that I wanted it.
